Is NEXTgencode a viral marketing tool or an ARG? Maybe both. The Beast was the granddaddy of the ARG and The Blair Witch Project invented a new way of marketing through the internet. This past summer thousand of LOSTies participated in The LOST Experience. Television programming has taught us that reailty can be entertainment. So why not try to pass entertainment as reality.
It's sites such as NEXTgencode and ARG sites such as NeoVenus that make me really wonder about Steorn. Just one more thing to ensure we're uncertain as to whether we're paranoid enough.
